Are you celebrating a rustic Christmas? A fun cabin get-away? Or just a restful meal with family? No matter the event, you'll love this casual set of cottolin napkins. They are plain weave with little basketweave squares as accents. Three colors of 8/2 Cottolin are used in both the warp and weft, for a look that is almost plaid, but not quite. This is a project that could be done using a double back beam. Don't have one? That's okay--we wove it on a loom with a single back beam and we'll give you tips on how to control the tension in the basket weave areas without a second beam. The kit makes four or eight hemmed napkins with finished dimensions of 13.75" x 15.5". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• 16" weaving width
• 6 harnesses
• 10-dent reed
• 320 heddles
• 1 boat shuttle
• 3 bobbins
• needle and thread for hemming
