HAND MANIPULATED AND LOOM CONTROLLED LACE TECHNIQUES

July 25 (Sat.) 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 1 day

Loom controlled lace and hand manipulated lace is beautiful. This will be a technique class where you will work on a pre-threaded loom in a huck lace pattern and do different treadling sequences to make multiple lace patterns. You will also learn 4 different hand-controlled lace techniques; Leno, Brooks Bouquet, Danish Medallions and Spanish Lace. Get ideas for how to incorporate lace into your weaving projects. We will dress your looms in 22/2 cottolin and provide the weft yarn. No refunds or credit for cancelations after July 11 unless we find a replacement for you. By Olivia Mills.
