Detailed Description

Jean Scorgie has devoted one issue of her Weaver’s Craft magazine to lace techniques, using Leno, Mexican Lace, and Brook’s Bouquet. Learn these techniques by making four place mats or towels using different pick-up and twist methods. Her picture diagrams and written directions will guide you through the process step by step. The towels shown were woven by Sara Kepler using white 5/2 perle cotton.

You will need:

  • 12.25" weaving width
  • 2 harnesses
  • 8 dent reed
  • 196 heddles
  • pick up stick 18" or longer

Sara chose white for her towels. If you would like the color as shown, simply order above. If you would like to choose your own color of 5/2 perle, order the kit and then note the color you want in the box above. Please note that the price of the kit varies based on weight and cost of the cone selected. Dyed colors of perle are priced higher than white. Please click here to see the colors. If you already have issue 12 of Weaver's Craft, please tell us in the box above. We'll leave it out of your kit and reduce the price.
