HAND MANIPULATED LACE TECHNIQUES ON A RIGID HEDDLE LOOM

July 26 (Sun.) 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 1 day

Leno, Brooks Bouquet, Danish Medallions and Spanish Lace are all hand manipulated lace techniques that are easily done on a rigid heddle loom. You will bring your rigid heddle loom dressed in our 4/2 Ad Astra cotton and learn how to weave all 4 techniques. You will have enough warp on your loom to weave a scarf in whichever lace weave you choose. These hand-controlled techniques are slow and precise but are a fantastic skill to have in your weaving tool kit and can be used to dress up any project as an accent, border, or entire cloth. Materials not included. By Olivia Mills.

Be sure to tell us in the box above what width of loom you are bringing and if you are bringing a stand or need table space.

Purchase your project yarn online and have your loom dressed and ready to go before class begins.
