Safari combines firmly twisted areas with sections that are lofty and loose. It weaves up into a stable fabric that has both a visual and tactile texture. Perfect for a summer blanket! Hand washing and drying will keep the fabric looking its best the longest but careful machine laundering is possible if the piece is hemmed rather than fringed. Like the texture but would like to see it in colors? Safari takes dye well, so try dyeing it with Procion dyes.

This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable.
