We have lots of sport weight yarns, and our share of Merino yarns, but Gaia Sport is both of these, and in an economical 8 ounce skein. And it isn't just Merino, it is superfine Merino for an even softer feel. Even better, it is 100% organic, so you can feel good about taking it easy on Mother Nature. As a sport weight yarn, it is a great choice for lighter weight sweaters, hats, and gloves, or anything that is going to be worn right against the skin. If you are considering it for weaving, think about scarves, shawls, and blankets.
