Flat shuttles are simple tools for carrying weft yarn. They are budget-friendly but do require more effort to unwind the weft as you weave. Make sure that the shuttle is at least 1-2" longer than the width of your warp. That way you can pass the shuttle from one hand to the other without having to reach into the shed.
