We love Matita for its bright colors and gradual color change that runs the entire length of the skein. What better way to use it in a weaving project than to combine it with the aptly named Happy Cotton and natural perle cotton? These three yarns are striped in the warp and sett at 12 epi. Then you weave it with Queen Anne's Lace, a yarn that is just the natural color of cotton but has a fun texture that mixes spiral contruction with thick-and-thin sections. Together, they make a fun, summery wrap that you can throw around your shoulders on a cool evening or sit on for an improptu beach picnic! The kit makes a wrap measuring approximately 30" x 63" plus twisted fringe. It can be hand washed and dried flat.

• 1 skein Matita from Berroco
• 2 mini cones 3/2 perle cotton in natural
• 1 skein Queen Anne's Lace
• 1 skein each of 5 colors of Happy Cotton
• 36" weaving width
• 2 harnesses
• 12 dent reed
• 432 heddles
• 1 15" boat shuttle and bobbin
• temple for 36" weaving width (optional)

Our wrap uses Matita color 42 Green & Orange with Happy Cotton colors 750 Beach Hut, 753 Freckle, 779 Fizz, 780 Treetop, and 790 Ketchup.
