Jane Stafford taught a lace weave workshop for us. One of her huck samples showed how to make warp spots, weft spots, open lace, and veritcal stripes all with one huck threading. Simply by changing the tie-up, you can try out these very different variations in huck lace. The center of the scarf is done in plain weave with the four lace variations woven on each end of the scarf. The warp is sett at 30 epi.

You will need:

• 8” weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 10 or 15 dent reed
• 236 heddles
