Presented by Clotilde Barrett. If you have a small loom, you’ll love the flexibility that this technique gives you to weave a wider width cloth. If width isn’t a concern, you will find fun challenges in weaving a double layer of cloth, making one side one color or pattern, and the other side a different color. You will weave a beautiful sampler which incorporates all the four harness techniques which are based on the doubleweave principle. The sampler will remain an excellent reference for later study. The techniques include weaving two separate layers, folded cloth, tubes, slits, color-and-weave effects, pique, stitching, quilting, and doubleweave pick-up patterning.
