Alternating colors in the warp and weft can create a variety of interesting patterns. The threading for this project is a combination of straight twill and rosepath, but you don't see the typical diagonal lines and diamonds. Both warp and weft are three colors of 3/2 perle cotton, sett at 16 ends per inch. Colors alternate in the warp and the weft picks are woven in pairs. The way colors are alternated creates three distinct patterns, plus areas of solid color to give your eye a rest. Together, they create a striking and modern table runner. Finished measurements are 12.5" x 48.75". The runner can be hand washed and dried flat.

You will need:

• 3/2 perle: 1 mini cone each of 3 colors
• 14.6” weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 8 dent reed
• 232 heddles
• 1 boat shuttle and 3 bobbins

We wove our runner using 3/2 Perle colors 142 Purple Passion, 111 Dark Gold, and 114 Indies Orange.
