Take advantage of the natural elegance of wetspun linen and weave a runner that is perfect for more formal dinners. It is woven using just two colors and a very active 8-harness twill pattern. The warp is 16/2 linen, sett at 24 epi. The color used for the accent stripes in your warp is also your weft. Twined edges and twisted fringe finish the polished look. The runner measures 12.5" x 36.5" plus fringe and can be hand washed and dried flat.

You will need:

• 16/2 linen: 1 tube each of two colors
• 14" weaving width
• 8 harnesses
• 12-dent reed
• 335 heddles
• shuttle and bobbin
• 2 darning or tapestry needles

We used 16/2 Linen colors 4 White and 454 Cocoa in our runner.
