These simple bags are so versatile, you'll be using them for shopping bags, lunch bags, knitting bags, and more! They are quick and easy, too, woven on a rigid heddle loom in simple plain weave. We've used Mallo, a US-made yarn that blends 55% organic cotton with 45% conventionally-raised cotton. It is a slub so the finished fabric has a pebbly texture. The warp uses two colors of Mallo and each bag uses one of the warp colors as the weft. The pattern includes the sewing instructions to turn your woven rectangle into two clever bags, each approximately 21.5" x 22" when flat. They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• 1 cone each of 2 colors of Mallo
• 17" weaving width rigid heddle loom
• 10-dent rigid heddle
• flat shuttle
