We are true believes in making samplers--they are useful reference tools for years to come! This sampler explores how different color sequences create very different effects in woven fabric. It uses three different warping sequences: LD, LLDD, and LLLLDDDD. Black dividers in the warp and weft outline each sample block. Three threading sequences are intersected by fifteen treadling sequences for a total of 45 samples! The finished dimensions are approximately 11.5" x 57".

You will need:

• 13" weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 12-dent reed
• 153 heddles
• 2 boat shuttles and bobbins

Our kit includes three colors of 3/2 perle cotton. The sandy color is no longer available so we're suggesting substituting 43 Beige to go with the 122 Mead and 7 Black.
