Clementina is a high-low cardigan, dipping slightly longer in the back. It has a pretty band of a 4-row textured stitch at the lower edge of the body and on the cuffs. n Clementina, the knitting begins at the neck and works downward. The shoulders are shaped using raglan increases. Garter stitch short rows shape the upper front. The sleeves are worked downward in the round. The sweater can be closed with an i-cord tie. The sweater is sized for newborn to 6 years with finished measurements of 18 (17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25)". Clementina can be machine washed and dried flat. Designed by Lisa Chemery.
For this project you will also worsted to DK weight yarn and:
- circular needle in US size 8 OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- double point needles in US size 8
- double point needles in US size 4 for i-cord ties
- 2 stitch markers
- 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn
- tapestry needle
