This knitting class is suitable for knitters who have been actively knitting and would like to expand their technical skills. If you know how to knit, but it has been a few years since you picked up needles and yarn, please take the Introduction to Knitting class first.
CABLES-- The Next Steps on the Twisting Path
Mar. 26 Thur. 6-8 p.m. 1 day
If you already love rope cables, it's time to try some more advanced variations. We will explore cables that travel across the knitted surface to create diamonds and Celtic braids, and we'll talk about incorporating these into your own knitting projects. You'll also get practice working with charted designs in this technique sampler class. We will also learn how to fix a mis-crossed cable without ripping. Please note this is not a beginner's cable knitting class and you will need to have some basic cable knitting experience. By Cheryl Murray.
