Some baby blankets are like Brahm's lullaby. This one is more like the Ramones! Three high-contrast colors in both the warp and the weft create a vibrant pattern for a blanket with attitude. Woven in 8/2 unmercerized cotton sett at 20 epi, it can be machine washed and air dried. The op-art design is created by alternating colors in both the warp and the weft, so you will be weaving with two shuttles throughout, although the colors used change with each repeat. The kit makes one blanket with finished dimensions of 29.5" x 43.5" plus fringe. It can be hand washed and air dried, with a brief tumble in the dryer to fluff the fabric.
