Dr. William Bateman spent his retirement studying weave structures and creating new variations of existing structures on his 8-harness table loom. He recorded his findings in a manuscript which was published as a series of monographs in the 1980s. This volume covers his exploration of three very closely related block weaves: park, boulevard, and chevron. The monograph combines excerpts from his manuscript with drafts and black and white photos of woven samples. Weaves who have a good foundation in weave drafting will appreciate the possibilities in these weaves.
