Bonkers 50% tencel/50% Merino fiber is hand dyed right here in Lawrence, Kansas by local textile artist Traci Bunkers. The softness of the Merino blends with the drape and luster of the tencel for an easy-to-spin, easy-to-wear combination. The bright colors lend themselves to projects like hats, mittens, and socks.

This fiber felts very successfully. The tencel adds luster to what looks like a pebbled surface. Expect a higher shrinkage rate than you would with 100% Merino of a similar thickness.
