Bevel is a striking chevron design that is worked in garter stitch so it is reversible. It begins with two small triangles at one end that are joined to create a larger triangle. Each additional chevron is worked building off of this original shape. Once the center panel is complete, stitches are picked up and worked in garter stitch for the side and end borders. Finished measurements after blocking are 9.5" x 82.5". The scarf can be hand washed and dried flat. Brooklyn Tweed has assigned this Jared Flood design a skill level rating of 3 out of 5 (intermediate).
Bevel uses Arbor, Brooklyn Tweed's DK-weight yarn spun from US-produced Targhee wool. The fiber is worsted-spun for strength and a sleek surface. Arbor knits up into fabrics that are sturdy, with nice drape. It typically knits at 5.25-6 stitches per inch.
