The Rockport Shawl is striking in its simplicity. The body is garter stitch with a wide border of large-scale lace gracing the llower two sides. Increases are worked at one side only for an asymmetrical triangular shape. The lace is given in both written and charted form so you can take your pick. Finished chest measurements are 80" across at the widest point and 34" from top to the deepest point. It can be machine washed and dried flat. Designed by Kirsten Kapur and rated by Berroco as requiring intermediate level skills.

This shawl was designed for Berroco's Remix Light, a blend of 30% nylon, 27% cotton, 24% acrylic, 10% silk, and 9% linen. All of the fibers are recycled and are spun into a yarn that has very little weight for its volume. It is perfect for summer wear but can also extend to spring and fall.

For this project you will also need:

• 2 skeins Remix Light
• 29" circular needle in US size 7 (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
• 1 stitch marker
• tapestry needle
