A lively pattern brightens up both this hat and the chilly day you'll be wearing it. The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a band of twisted rib. Then two colors are worked using the Fair Isle method following a chart. The lower part of the hat is worked using a circular needle, switching to double points as the circumference decreases toward the top. The hat measures approximately 21" around and 9.5" high. It can be hand washed and dried flat. Berroco rates this Donna Yacino design as requiring intermediate skill level.
Skye isn't just any other sport weight wool. It is a unique mix of wool for warmth and resilience, viscose for shine, yak for luxury, and nylon for strength. The smooth, slightly gleaming surface makes the colorwork shine!
