With the Larue top, people will hate to see you go but love to watch you walk away. The simple stockinette front of the sweater might deceive you into thinking that this top is quite plain, but wait until you see the back. An overall waffle pattern goes from hem to shoulder and the neck dips to show a little skin. If you have some favorite funky buttons, showcase them here! Or, if you are of a more traditional bent, turn the sweater around and put the fun on the front--the shaping makes it reversible.

The sweater is worked in a single piece, from the bottom up, following written instructions for the 12-row pattern repeat. Once the body is finished, stitches are picked up and worked for the arm bands and button bands. An applied i-cord edging is worked on the lower and neck edges. Larue uses Pima 100, a worsted weight cotton. Pima 100 is unmercerized and has a smooth surface to show off this textured stitch well. Larue was designed to be worn with 2-4" of ease. Finished chest measurements are 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)" and lenghs of 21 (21, 21.5, 22, 22.5, 22.5, 23, 23.5)". The sweater can be machine washed and dried flat.
