This is the summer piece you've been dreaming about! Kokkini is a long tunic with a loose fit and beautiful drape. Pull it on over a tank and leggings and you immediately have a polished but relaxed look. A 2-row pattern stitch is worked throughout and reverse sc edging is worked at the neck. The front and back are identical, with a center panel knit from the bottom up and then stitches picked up along the sides and worked outward for the side panels. Stitches are cast on to the side panels for the shoulders and sleeves. Kokkini is designed to be loose-fitting, worn with approximately 7" of ease. Finished chest measurements are 36 (40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)" and finished length of 30" for all sizes. Berroco has given this Donna Yacino design a difficulty rating of intermediate.
Medina is a summer dream, with one warm color flowing into another. It blends 37% cotton with 36% acrylic and 27% viscose for a breathable yarn that makes great warm-weather garments. It is a DK weight yarn and is knit in this project at 5.25 stitches per inch in the pattern stitch. Medina can be machine washed in cold on delicate and dried flat. Due to the print effect, some dye may release during the laundering process.
