Khamaseen is a dry spring wind in Egypt. The sweater version of Khamaseen is ready to show you off in any kind of wind. It has a loose fit and minimal shaping, with easy cap sleeves and a graceful neckline. Khamaseen is knit using Berroco's Remix Light, a blend of five recycled fibers (nylon, cotton, acrylic, silk, and linen) that are spun into a DK weight yarn. The sweater is knit in two pieces, from the bottom up, with stitches cast on at the underarm for the sleeve. The leaf pattern is worked following a chart. The sweater is designed to fit loosely, with 8-10" of ease. Finished chest measurements are 40 (44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64)" with finished lengths of 22.5 (23, 23, 23.5, 24, 24.5, 25)". Khamaseen can be hand washed and blocked flat. Designed by Donna Yacino.
