Detailed Description

The Juniper Top is ready to frolic, whether it is an afternoon at the lake or story hour at the library. The first part qualifies as mindless knitting as you work the body from the bottom up in the round. At the armholes, the stitches are divided for front and back. The sleeves are worked from the lower edge up and then all stitches are joined to form a yoke with ragland shaping at the shoulders and short row shaping at the upper back. Stitches are picked up at the neck for a ribbed edging. Finished chest measurements are 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52)" with lengths of 19 (20, 21, 22.25, 23.25, 23.75)". It was designed to be worn with 2-4" of ease. It can be machine washed and dried flat. Berroco has rated this Sachiko Burgin design as for intermediate skill level.
