Throw this shawl around your shoulders to protect them from the sun or add a layer to keep the air conditioning at bay. The design takes advantage of Medina's zippy colors and works them in a two-row repeat. And one of the rows is all knit! After blocking, the finished measurements are approximately 17" x 66". Berroco has given this Amy Christoffers design a difficulty rating of intermediate.

Medina is a summer dream, with one warm color flowing into another. It blends 37% cotton with 36% acrylic and 27% viscose for a breathable yarn that makes great warm-weather garments. It is a DK weight yarn and is knit in this shawl at 6.5 stitches per inch in the pattern stitch after blocking. Medina can be machine washed in cold on delicate and dried flat. Due to the print effect, some dye may release during the laundering process.
