Beginning Knitting-- My First Scarf

Your first knitting project will be a lasting reminder of when you began your knitting journey. You will wear the Sheep Herder Scarf by Jennifer Berg with pride as you get to know how knit and purl stitches are worked using a cozy worsted weight yarn. By Debbie Matthias.

Supplies to bring, all of which are available at the Yarn Barn:

• Download and print the Sheep Herder Scarf pattern (Free)
• Approximately 200 yards of a worsted weight yarn like Nature Spun Worsted.
• Single Point US 10 needles
• Blunt tapestry needle
• Scissors

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2 hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
