Beginning Knitting: Bouncy Beanie

The CC Style Boulder Beanie designed by In Stitches is a great pattern to learn all the basics in knitting. You will learn how to cast on, make knit and purl stitches, do simple shaping techniques, and follow a pattern using a bulky weight yarn and US 10 needles. By Debbie Matthias.

Supplies to bring, all of which are available at the Yarn Barn:

• Download and print the CC Style Boulder Beanie pattern (Free)
• Approximately 120 yards of a bulky weight yarn like Vintage Chunky.
• Double point and 16" circular US 10 needles
• Blunt tapestry needle
• Scissors

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2 hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
