BEGINNING HARNESS WEAVING

Nov. 6-7 (Weds.-Thur.) 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 2 days

Learn all you need to know to start weaving on a four-harness floor loom.  Warp, weft, sett, epi, ppi, draft, tie-up and more are weaving terms you will learn.  You will measure your warp, thread the loom, learn to read a threading draft, and weave a sampler of several different patterns.  By Bea Bonanno.

Please purchase your class supplies before the first day of class.

Class supply list:

• 1 each of 2-3 colors of 3/2 perle cotton mini cones
• looms and equipment will be provided during class
• glasses, lots of close-up work involved in weaving!
• GOOD SCISSORS

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street.  Top level parking is free.  Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2-hours.  Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level.  Sunday parking is free downtown.
