January 28 (Sun.) 4:30-6 p.m. 3 weeks

Crochet is a great introduction for kids to get into the fiber arts. They will learn the basic techniques of making a chain, seaming, and the single crochet stitch while they make their first hat. You will need to purchase one skein bulky weight yarn (we recommend Vintage Chunky), crochet hook size 9 mm. Recommended age: 8 and up.


  • Crochet hook size 9 mm
  • 2 skeins (about 200 grams) of bulky weight yarn in a wool or wool blend.  We recommend Vintage Chunky
  • Blunt tapestry needle
  • Scissors

PARKING: The New Hampshire Parking Garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street.  Top level parking is free.  Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park for the whole day.  Street level and basement level parking is 2-hour free parking.  Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level.  Sunday parking is free downtown.
