Beginning Crochet

You will learn how to crochet basic stitches and go beyond with this scarf or cowl. The Janessa Circle pattern by Aprile Mazey is a free pattern from Ravelry. Once you have learned all about chain, single, double, and front and back loop crochet, you will an attractive scarf or learn to seam the edges to make a cowl. By Debbie Matthias.

Please purchase your class supplies before the first day of class. You can order online and we can hold it at the store for you to pick up on the first day. Just be sure to mention that should hold it for you at the store.

Class supply list:

• Download and print the Janessa Circle Scarf pattern (free). We can print it for you in the store too.
• Approximately 250 yards of aworsted weight yarn like Nature Spun Worsted or Encore Worsted.
• 4.5 mm or US 7 crochet hook
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Blunt tapestry needle

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2-hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
