Detailed Description

January 29 (Mon.) 6-8 p.m. 4 weeks



Learn foundational crochet stitches while creating your first cowl or scarf.  The cowl or scarf will be crocheted flat, and seamed for a cowl or infinity scarf, or left loose for a traditional scarf.  Class will teach how to follow a pattern using US crochet terms.  By the end of class, students will have a firm grasp on single, half double, and double crochet as well as a few more advanced stitches.  We will provide the pattern.  By Rebecca Cook.



Supply list:

5.5mm crochet Hook, if using a heavy worsted yarn, you may want a 6.0mm hook.

  • measuring tape
  • scissors
  • blunt tapestry needle
  • locking stitch markers
  • stitch marker

It's best to come to class with your supplies, but students may arrive a few minutes early to purchase them before class starts.

PARKING: The New Hampshire Parking Garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street.  Top level parking is free.  Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park for the whole day.  Street level and basement level parking is 2-hour free parking.  Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level.  Sunday parking is free downtown.
