BEGINNING BRIOCHE-- SKIPP HAT

Ready to learn the basic reversible brioche stitch? Try out this popular design element with the Skipp hat by Jared Flood. You will make a 2-color brioche hat using Brooklyn Tweed's Loft or another wool yarn in a similar weight. Have fun with color and learn the brioche stitch, brioche decreases, and how to read a brioche pattern. By Kim Thelen.
Supplies to bring, all of which are available at the Yarn Barn:
- Download and print Skipp hat pattern ($8) from Ravelry. If you are not able to do this at home, we can do it for you.
- 1 skein each of 2 colors in Brooklyn Tweed Loft. Choose 2 highly contrasting colors.
- 16" circular US 2 and 16" circular US 4 and double point US 4
- stitch marker
If you are unsure on what yarns will be best for your project, please stop by our store a few days before class starts so that you can make your selection without cutting into class time.
