The cables of Fieldstone have a statement to make. They converge and diverge, standing out crisply against the stockinette background. They amplify the shaping at the waist on both the front and the back. The sweater is worked in four separate pieces that are then sewn together. Stitches are picked up at the neck for the collar. The cabling is worked following multiple large, clear charts. Fieldstone is designed for a sleek fit with 1-2" of ease. Finished measurements are 31.25 (35.75, 39.75, 44.25, 48.75, 52.75)" and finished lengths of 23.25 (23.5, 24, 26.75, 27.25, 28)". The sweater can be hand washed and dried flat. Brooklyn Tweed has assigned this Norah Gaughan design a skill level rating of 5 out of 5 (Advanced!)
