Bevel is a striking chevron design that is worked in garter stitch so it is reversible. It begins with two small triangles at one end that are joined to create a larger triangle. Each additional chevron is worked building off of this original shape. Once the center panel is complete, stitches are picked up and worked in garter stitch for the side and end borders. Finished measurements after blocking are 9.5" x 82.5". The scarf can be hand washed and dried flat. Brooklyn Tweed has assigned this Jared Flood design a skill level rating of 3 out of 5 (intermediate).
The pattern provides instructions for knitting the scarf using either fingering weight Loft or DK weight Arbor.
For this project you will also need:
- Arbor version: 3 sk main color, 2 sk each 3 other colors
- Loft version: 2 sk main color, 1 sk each 3 other colors
- 47" circular needle in US size 8 (Arbor version) or 6 (Loft version) (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
