Detailed Description

The Amber Waves scarf is all about texture: the color texture of the hand-dyed yarn and the physical texture of the woven fabric. It is woven in the alpaca/Tencel blend yarn called Mariquita Hand-dyed, which has a sleek, lustrous surface and very soft hand. Two colors of Mariquita are used in the warp, sett at 24 epi. The weft is a single color of Mariquita, beaten at 12 ppi. The kit makes a scarf with finished dimensions of approximately 6.25" x 72". It can be hand washed and dried flat.

You will need:

  • 6.75" weaving width
  • 4 harnesses
