Talk about bang for your buck! This shawl is composed of only four rows and three of them are just all knit or all purl! If you've wanted to try a shawl with lace but were intimidated by complicated charts or long lines of stitch abbreviations, then this is the shawl for you. If you can yo and P2tog, you can do it! The shawl measures approximately 17" wide by 74" long. It can be hand washed and dried flat. Berroco rates this Brenda York design as easy.
Berroco's Quechua makes great lace. It has a smooth, sleek surface that blocks into distinct lace patterning. It is a sport weight yarn but the wool, alpaca, and yak fibers make it warm and cozy.
The kit includes the pattern and the yarn. For this project you will also need:
- single point or circular needles in size US 7 OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- tapestry needle
