Rep weave makes stable and quick-to-weave rugs. It is primarily a warp-faced weave with a small amount of the weft showing through. The front and back are reverse images--just flip the rug and everyone will think it is a second rug! The warp is made of 8/4 cotton carpet warp. To create a little color interest, the dark warp blocks are composed of four colors striped throughout and the light blocks are from a single color. The weft alternates one pick of mop cotton with one pick of your main color of carpet warp. A braided fringe frames the ends. The finished measurements are 24" x 36" plus fringe. The rug can be machine washed and dried flat.

• 12 dent reed
• 468 heddles
• one boat shuttle plus a flat or rug shuttle
