Linen has a unique feel that makes it ideal for table linens but it is durable enough for very practical use. This weight is appropriate for placemats and table runners or a bag for taking shopping. The natural is the unaltered gray-beige color. The half-bleached has been partially bleached to an ivory color. It is lovely as it is or would take dye well using Procion. The surface is smooth with a slight sheen. The sheen can be enhanced by ironing or minimized by machine drying.
