The Schacht horizontal warping mill can be used on a table or counter top. It has a 72 inch circumference and can wind an 18 yard warp. Pegs can form a porrey cross at either end, and then you spin the mill to wrap the warp to the right length. This eliminates the back-and-forth action of a warping board and puts less strain on your shoulders.
