Toros is a spiral yarn with a lot of volume and not much weight. The structure is obscured by the overall haze of the surface, giving the look of fleece. It would make a great accent collar on a sweater or textured feature in a woven piece. The yarn is stable enough to be a warp thread, but you would need to ease it through the heddles when advancing the warp and make sure to give it plenty of room in the reed.

This wool can be dyed using Washfast dyes.

This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process. If you are planning to dye it, it is best to leave it in the hank.
