Tabitha II has an unusual make-up. Nearly unspun rayon and cotton are combined with single-ply cotton strands and plied with a nylon binder. The result is lofty and soft, and would make a wonderful weft. It would need a lot of coddling as a warp yarn, however, because of the loose construction. It takes dye well, requiring a fiber reactive dye like Procion.
This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process. (If you will be dyeing this yarn, it is best to keep it in its reeled hank.)
