Irish Lace is a combination of three cotton plies and one linen ply spun together in a firm bouclé-type yarn. The linen ply gives a little extra absorbency as well as some color variation. Irish Lace is strong enough for warp but does not have much elasticity, so plan for that when you design your warp.

This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process.
