If you're tired of placing your tools on the bench beside you, the table behind you, or just out of reach, outfit your 36" Schacht standard floor loom with a Trap and keep your tools right at hand. The Trap has two brackets that clamp to the front legs of your loom. Two wooden bars run between the brackets as support for the nylon cloth sleeve that holds your tools. When you are ready to thread the loom, you can loosen the machine screws that secure the clamp and remove the Trap for better access to the reed and heddles.

The Trap is made with either maple brackets and crosspieces. It ships unassembled and is installed most easily with the help of a second person, but a small table can work, too.
