Unlike most projects, with Digital Spectrum, the fabric changes dramatically in the finishing process. The scarf is woven in a 100% wool yarn and is fulled in the washing machine to make the fabric dense and fuzzy. The 4-harness structure gives two different faces so one side shows the main color predominately while the other features the accent colors. The yarn is Nature Spun Fingering sett at 12 epi to allow lots of room for shrinkage. Our sample uses bright neon colors but you could go for neutrals, jewel tones, or even just two or three colors instead of six. The kit makes one scarf measuring 7" x 60". After the initial fulling, the scarf can be hand washed and dried flat.
