The Ashford Wild was introduced in response to requests for a carder to make specialty blends. It has extra-long teeth set at 72 per square inch for a deeper batt that can include novelty items like fabric strips, feathers, and paper. A packer brush is mounted at the top. It is adjustable to control fine fibers. In addition, the distance between the drums can be adjusted for maximum control of the carding. The carder can make a bat of 24" x 6" and about 1.5 ounces. The Wild Carder includes:
