Ashford has created the Brooklyn Four Shaft Loom to be an affordable table loom for those new to weaving, for rigid heddle weavers looking to try harness weaving, and for any weaver wanting a portable loom. Sampling and workshop attendance are easy with the Brooklyn loom!

The Brooklyn loom includes:

• 4 harnesses
• 16" weaving width
• overhead beater with bungy cords to retract beater
• 320 8.62" Texsolv heddles (enough for 20 epi across the full width)
• 10 dent stainless reed
• nylon ratchets for brakes on cloth and warp beams
• beech hardwood crosspieces and plywood side pieces.
• open-ended beater that locks in place for sleying
• 2 flat shuttles, 5 sticks for apron bars and lease sticks, 10 cardboard beaming sticks, and threading hook

The Brooklyn loom comes unassembled and unfinished but ready to oil or lacquer as you prefer.
