Temples are used to keep your fabric at a consistent width during weaving, which leads to less draw-in and more uniform selvedges. These wooden temples from Glimakra are adjustable in 3/8" increments. There are six teeth in the 1 5/8" width and they angle down slightly toward the cloth. The wooden temples weigh less than the metal temples, but are still quite sturdy.
