The weaving class listed below is designed for those who have threaded a 4-harness loom, can follow a draft and weave independently.

T-T-T-T-TOUCH ME TENCEL SCARF

Did you ever hear other weavers tell you that Tencel is a difficult yarn to work with? Fear not! Our newest lines of yarn in colors curated with Brown Sheep Co. called Big and Little Dipper are 5/2 and 8/2 Tencel. We think you will fall in love with our Dipper yarns as much as we have. As an introduction to our Tencel, learn to weave the Maxi Scarf pattern designed by Melissa Parsons. You need 4 colors of Little Dipper (8/2) to make this scarf. Our Tencel is easy to work with, so you will wind the warp, dress the loom, and weave a beautiful scarf. By Bea Bonanno.

Please purchase your class supplies before the first day of class. You can order it online. Just be sure to include a message that we should hold the yarn at the store to pick up during class. We will remove the shipping fee and apply the class discount.

Class supply list:

• One cone each of 4 colors of Little Dipper 8/2 Tencel. We used Purple Basil, Spanish Olive, Emperor's Robe, and Salmon Berry.
• One boat shuttle (9-11" long) and 4 bobbins
• GOOD Scissors
• Tape Measure

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2 hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
